About the Position

As the Patient Services Manager at Harris Health, you will plan, administer, direct, and control all unit activities related to patient food service program to ensure high quality standards of operation. This position operates under the direction of the Department Director in order to ensure compliance with Harris Health System policies and procedures while maintaining high quality service to patients. The Patient Food Services Manager will implement an effective nutrition program that maintains high patient and employee satisfaction scores.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Nutrition, Certified Dietary Manager, and 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition and food service OR Associate of Arts in Food Services Technology/Management, Dietetics and 4 years of experience in clinical nutrition and food service
  • Food Managers Certificate
  • 2 years of patient food and nutrition service management in a large hospital
  • Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration Food Code (FDA)
  • Experience using electronic food service management software preferred
