About the Position
An Emergency Room RN at Harris Health Systems focuses on providing care for patients suffering from trauma or other illnesses that require emergency attention. You must be able to recognize and treat life-threatening conditions and rapidly assess and treat patients in critical situations. As an ER RN, you need to work at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care, especially when under pressure.
About the Emergency Room
Harris Health has two trauma centers available to patients that both have an international reputation for excellence. Our Level I trauma center at Ben Taub Hospital is one of only two Level I trauma centers in Harris County and is staffed by physicians from Baylor College of Medicine. The Trauma Center located at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital is a Level III trauma center in northeast Houston that provides comprehensive medical and surgical services. Our emergency physicians and nurses are trained to assess, resuscitate, stabilize, and initiate transfers to provide the highest level of comprehensive care for patients with serious injuries or illnesses.
Minimum to Midpoint Hourly Range: $35.83 - 42.53

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1 year of nursing experience
